Private Clay Parties

   I will open my studio for small, private parties. It would involve two sessions. During the first session, of about 90, minutes, the participants would get an overview of the 3 processes I use with this type of group, and they would see examples of each type. The glazing session only lasts about 30 minutes. The three things that each participant can make are: pinch pots starting with a ball of clay; tiles up to 10 inches square, and coil-built pieces. Some participants make one of each. Maximum class size is ten. Adult supervision is required (besides me). Children should be eight years old or older. Cost: eighteen dollars per participant (which includes clay, instructions, glaze, and two firings. There is a 100 dollar minimum per group. Call me at (937) 296-4464 for information |
